Breaking News Whiplash. My goodness, what two days..my thoughts -

this is complicated. Far more complicated than any of us could imagine, I think.

I won't even guess why the Buzzfeed report came out - a "trial balloon" to see what reactions would be (including trump and his), a bit of jumping the gun, an error, a leak - who knows.

I am going to keep calm. We are in the middle of a two year minimum nightmare and who knows how much longer it will go on. Damage is being done, but the tide may be starting to turn. We know what trump is, we know what republicans are, we know what trump's followers are. But....so do the politicians on our side. So do plenty of people working behind the scenes. So does Bob Mueller and all of those working on this.

It is huge, hugely complicated and stuff will happen in fits and starts.

There is an ugly, gross blob sitting and squirming and lying and tweeting, and he (if he has any sense left at all) should be sweating bullets. It is starting to come down on him. It has to.
