Why did Mueller approve Cohen to testify before the Congress on Feb 7th?

It is my understanding that Cohen is prevented from talking about the Russia part of the investigation? I suppose that would include the Trump Moscow Tower?

As for the BuzzFeed story, in my opinion, Mueller does not yet have the evidence nailed down and did not want the information out prematurely. He probably had third-Party references, from Ivanka or Don Jr, discussing the project with Michael Cohen, but did not have direct connection to Donald Trump? Although the story may be true, there is not enough evidence to say that Donald Trump ordered Michael Cohen to lie? Mueller did not want his investigation polluted with stories that could not be proven.

But the story is out there. And that may serve the purpose it was intended to do?

Just my opinion.

1. Cohen can talk about a LOT of things, separate from Russia

Cohen was the President's lawyer for a long time. He knows about the Trump Corporation. Congress can probably talk to him for days and days without even getting to Russia.

7. I think the Moscow Trump Tower may be the center of the entire investigation?

Trump was expected to make hundreds of millions of dollars from the project.

He did not want to stop the negotiations with Putin and the Russians just because he was running for President and because he never expected to win the election. So, he decided to keep it in the dark, even as negotiations continued.

At first, they said they stopped talking with the Russians about building the Tower in January of 2017. But, then, Cohen had stated that the negotiations went on until June of that year. Giuliani later said that the negotiations went on until November? If the truth be known, negotiations are probably still going on as we speak?

As this investigations progresses to its final stages, I suppose we will hear a lot more about "emoluments" and the Trump Tower in Moscow?

The tower is only a small part of the story. The bigger story is he is an agent of r ussia. The g op knows this and probably just as compromised. Asked yourself why didn't Ryan at his young age decide to 'retire'? Why G ramham and M cConnell hold his jock strap when they despise him as much as we do?

R ussia has all of the receipts on them as well.

Our country is in peril.

I think he was trying to enrich himself. I don't think he ever stopped.
