Dear Leader needed a major distraction, something he could in his own twisted way blame on the Democrats.
Had it not been the wall he would have made up something else. Something most likely in the "national security" area. That always rouses the boobs that follow him.

And of course the worst hasn't come yet. That is why I think they are evaluating countries to invade - Iran, Venezuela, North Korea. That one will be used when the report gets out.
