On the bright side, there seems to be a lot less hate radio

I drove through the south yesterday—West Virginia, Virginia, both Carolinas, and Georgia. I like to fiddle with the radio while I drive just to see what’s out there. The last time I made this trip was four or five years ago and I heard an impressive lot of hate radio then. Yesterday I didn’t run across any. Now this is just my experience, but I think it’s worth mentioning.

On the downside, hate radio seems to have been largely replaced with religion and snake oil.

A few years ago Hubby and I drove round trip from Dulles airport to colonel Williamsburg for a vacation. The radio was awful. Fake Christian pastors and right wing radio. We finally found a static rock station but after that we vowed when we rented a car we would get Sirius in the car.

We have Sirius in both of our cars at home.

religion and snake oil will be around for a long time. I don't listen to the radio very much anymore. Too many commercials.
