into the American embassy on the main street and sitting down and filling out a whole bunch of paper work and sending it to the the proper authorities. I had visions of a 15 year old boy easily applying for asylum when he is the first one that will be refused because he will be told he is in a gang even though he is not. This piece of shit dictator thinks it is just so easy for a child to walk through a violent war zone to apply for asylum. They would get killed before they got into the building.

If they returned home they'd most likely be killed for consorting with the reviled US government.

Trump cannot think.

Potentially thousands of people who would otherwise attempt the arduous journey to America would desend on whatever diplomatic facility we maintained seeking asylum. We would have to provide for them and assure they had protection and safety. They would overwhelm the capabilities of the diplomatic staff and probably put everyone in jeopardy of an attack.
