Is the Mueller investigation affected by the shutdown?

If so, that would be a big reason for Trump to not want it to end. Someone said the grand jury might be affected. Has anyone got info on that?

No, thankfully Mueller’s funding is a separate, multi-year appropriation, so his Office is not affected by the shutdown.
