This week in irony

A week ago, the Gillette company put out a video ad called "Toxic Masculinity" that encouraged men to not be assholes, and also to teach their sons not to be assholes.

Apparently this was too much for right-wingers: they lost their shit. Many swore they'll never buy another Gillette product as long as they live. Not all men are assholes, they cried, and also, don't tell us how to raise our sons.

Yesterday a bunch of white private school dudes, all wearing MAGA hats, became famous on video for heckling and mocking Muslim Americans, and then getting up in the faces of Native American spiritual leaders.

Funny how irony works.
