If the tRump GOP were a separate party from the regular GOP

and we had three parties, about what percentage of Americans would be in the new GOP super racist, misogynistic, anti Climate Change GOP, the regular, old GOP, and the Democratic Party? Would three parties separate the GOP into the tRumpers and the never tRumpers? Would this help or hurt Dems as the country and world is changing?

My 84 year old, very Dem mother had this idea earlier today.

Because tRump's 30% "base" leaves about 17% for the "normal" Republican Party.

Compare that to the 53% Democratic Party and we can un-gerrymander the country and get back to a government for the people.

the NON-Trump GOP would not be as conservative as the GOP used to be, and would pull some conservative Democrats over. My guess would be:

Trump GOP: 30%
Non-Trump GOP: 25%
Democrats: 45%
