I mean, I like his current show (not as much as Rachel...), but I thought he did a great job on his previous show. He had a good talent of sparking a good conversation amongst his guests, letting them discuss the topic with each other, interjecting where necessary, or where he could add to the conversation without making it all about himself. It really was an excellent example on how to run those types of shows. This talent isn't really used to its full effect in his current show.

Can’t piss off donald. He may tweet mean things about me and sick his attack dogs on me. NBC nightly news is the worst on the both sidism.

Also, not one member of gop should be referred to as senator, speaker, chairman, mr. or mrs.
They should ONLY be referred to by first name only. Their disrespect for democrats should not go without payback.

The OP leaves the impression that the Trump coverage is a positive for him. That's not the case. 90% of the Trump coverage is anti Trump, and as long as they put it out there, and present it for what it is, the more people will become aware of this charlatan who sits in the White House. One thing I have noticed here on Democratic Underground is that when a news show host, Scarborough Matthews Etc, spend the greatest majority of their time telling the truth about the corruption of trump, they're okay. But let one of them say one tiny thing that may be wildly misconstrued as pro-trump , and all of a sudden they are trumpsters, shills for the GOP, we knew they were from trumpers all along blah blah blah, and the 99% anti Trump rhetoric is just forgotten until the next time. They're not perfect, and they do and say some dumbass things, but I also think they deserve a fairer shake than they get here on many occasions.

....but that's the impression I took away from your post even if it is the wrong impression. Clarity. As far as not having him in your house, that's completely up to you. I choose to let them in my own house simply for the satisfaction of knowing that millions of other people are hearing the truth about the criminal in White House. I really don't care what they said before. There's nothing I or anyone can do about that. I do care about what they're saying now as it is at least a sincere effort to right the wrong of their past actions. In actuality, some of them, like Steve Schmidt, are better spokespersons against Trump's Republican Party and for the Democratic Party than many Democrats are. I'll take it.

the media didn't say one thing about tRump because he crows how the media is making money because they report on him and also during all this there is no solution to the shutdown and the people's work is not being done or is it?? the House put 6 bills together to pass. Now if McConnell does not pass any of these then we will all know how deep he is into taking Democracy down for Putin.

If you happened to read Yale holocaust historian Timothy Snyder's essential books on our plight, you would know that the first purpose of the autocrat is to wear down good people; to exhaust them. Easy to see how that is helpful to a tyrant with evil intent.

Exhaust the good people.

They look away.

The tyrant then has free reign to act.

My recommendation for the least anguish and the best information in one hour: Brian Williams' "The Eleventh Hour" on MSNBC. It is calm, smart, thorough, and he brings the top print journalists to us with their news of the day regarding this presidency. No "panels" and no "whataboutism". No Trumpers. Just a truthful report.

outside the genocide, the mindless brutality and abuse of the Native Americans, in order to steal their homeland, and the slavery, stealing human beings from their lives, and placing them in a living hell for every day of their lives, among strangers, if they managed to survive crossing the Atlantic.

Of course, there was the brutal war against organized labor by industrialists who wanted free reign to use human beings like tissue paper, and so many other hellish actions launched against US citizens, too, but beyond that, THIS is the biggest shrieking hell imaginable.

There is no time whatsoever for more "fun" diversions until this filth is over.

If there is anything at all to be learned each hour of each day, I am praying someone is going to find out about it, and report it, and that somehow, someway, a path will open to allow intelligent beings to out the evil doers, and cleanse the system which has been growing filthier decade by decade until things could actually get into this shape at all.

However poorly delivered the stories sometimes are, at least people are trying to get the news to the people while there is still the chance it can be told at all, considering how much has worked against truth-telling, considering how the right-wing has been raging against the "liberal" media for years, and powerful interests have been buying up and consolidating the news media until they have almost complete control of it all, anyway.

I don't want to be entertained these days and nights, I need to hear the moment any possible break in the storm looms into view, bringing the possibility something can be done against these diseased, twisted monsters. Nothing matters as much as getting rid of them, outside ending disease, and poverty, and clearly global warming, all of which are wildly influenced by what the hell is in charge of our government.
