Is Trump done with the Presidency?

I don't see him doing jack shit for the country.

He's not going to do anything to end the shutdown, because he really doesn't care if the government operates or not.

What does he even do besides tweet and go to photo ops?

He watches many hours of TV each day, drinks Diet Coke, and eats a lot. Very full days. nt tblue37 Jan 2019 #1

Everyday he remains in the oval office, another part of America dies.

He's stopped doing rallies and hasn't set foot outside the WH (e.g., golfing) except the Christmas visit to Iraq since Thanksgiving.

Yes, this moron is done, finished. He only caters to his base and doesn't give a shit about our country. He is inept, incurious, adores dictators and is isolating us from the rest of the world and is allowing Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh to determine policy. He should just fly the Russian flag over the white house.

Having to do some actual work and getting some real opposition just isn't in his wheelhouse. The interesting thing to me will be how the Trump Shutdown ends. What sort of "deal" is Trump going to get other than totally backing down? And when Trump's shutdown ends, I hope every news outlet analyzes what it took to end it, and wonder why it couldn't have been done on those exact same terms two, three, or even four weeks ago?

He simply doesn't give a flying fuck about anyone or anything else. He thinks that threatening people is negotiating. He hasn't a clue that not only are the 800,000 or so federal employees currently required to work without pay, and I don't know how many tens of thousands are straight out furloughed and not working and also not getting a paycheck.

Plus, anyplace that has a lot of government employees is affected, as they aren't spending money right now. Not going out to restaurants or to movies, not buying gas for their cars, not buying shoes or clothes. It goes on and on.

and plenty of destruction he can do for his Russian pal Putin. He never cared about leading a nation, and he doesn't. He saw an opportunity for 4 years of ego fluffing and bank account padding, and took it.

Why would he quit?

He can wring two more years out with just two-minute obligations, such as today.
