With today's Supreme Court decision, Americans who volunteer to serve in the military can be turned away by a guy who faked bone spurs to dodge the draft.

And was the fuel for most of the protest movement of the1960's.

It was never so much of an anti-war movement as it was an anti-involuntary servitude movement.

Frankly, abolishing the draft was a mistake. With no skin in the game today's generations don't seem to give much of a fuck about perpetual war.
And the powers that be use an economic draft to feed their meat grinder.
