Trump suggests he'll give 'alternative' State of the Union
Trump said Wednesday he may do an “alternative” State of the Union after Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) blocked him from delivering the address in the House chamber while the government is shut down.
“We’ll do something in the alternative,” Trump told reporters at the White House.
He provided no further details about such an event but said they would be revealed “at a later date.”
Speaking at a meeting with conservative leaders, Trump called Pelosi’s decision a “disgrace,” accused her of not wanting “to hear the truth” and bowing to the “super-left” members of her party.

The FACTS are... constitutionally there's no reason that he couldn't deliver it in the senate since the senate is a part of "congress" too. Constitutionally he can give it in written form only or both written and in person. Heck, according to the Constitution he can also WAIT for a while since the wording is "from time to time'.
While we tend to think of it as traditional for the president to give his State of The Union report yearly in the spoken form in the House Of Representatives, with a written form given in advance, it's not always been done this way and doesn't have to be.
The fact is that Trump is a narcissist who feeds off of attention and feels everything is supposed to always be about HIM and what HE wants. He craves the spotlight on him like it's a drug so he can say how great he is, spew his lies and bigoted bull and get applause from his TrumpliCon minions and Cult45 followers.
