Vanilla ISIS: In the U.S., white supremacists were responsible for more than 70% of the domestic terror killings in the last decade.
According to a new report from the Anti-Defamation Leagues Center on Extremism, the number of white supremacist murders in the United States more than doubled in 2017 compared to the previous year.
While NewsWeek notes that white supremacists in 2017 were responsible for one of the deadliest years for extremist violence in almost half a century.

(53,963 posts)They didn't see it because they are part of the problem. They are a huge part of the systemic disease of bigotry which infects our country. Mainly, again, just my opinion, because that profession tends to be very conservative. The other part of the equation is when it is the "majority" committing the crime, no one sees a pattern, but when it is a minority, then suddenly it applies to all members of that minority. Of course, this is what we see in everyday issues too, not just crime.
