I grew up in this atmosphere. This is their immovable thinking toward everything.
It’s a mindset that can not be reasoned with.
They feel that they are doing the Lords work.
They feel that “trumps” any other thinking or rationale.
And, since Their God can never be proven or disproven, there’s nowhere to argue or compromise with them.

Personally, I think that they all should be indicted for murder and crimes against humanity if need be. We'll judge them using facts and evidence, clear to all. Their evidence? What evidence? No one can see their evidence. But all of us can see how they are interpreting words out of a book according to their own desire, and using those words (that they alone came up with), to justify all sorts of crimes. Nice!

My parents weren't zealots but their immediate family were, in several religions though I was mostly exposed to the xtians. They are brainwashed and only a small number of them can be brought to reality.

Part of why they cling to this rationale is that they are so frightened of the world they cannot control that the only way to be able to go forth is to believe there is a big sky daddy protecting them from harm. Rather than investigate and/or accept that there is some other rationale besides their own.

This sky daddy also lets them fashion what they "believe" he is about to fit their ambitions of control and they back up their arguments using a vague, ancient text that has slowly been refashioned and reinterpreted to fit their ambitions for control of their environment and the lives of others. Unfortunately, this serves only to justify their ill will and hatred which is born of the desire to have ultimate control of their environment and the lives of others.

"Lying by nature" isn't a thing. There is nothing that's gotten hold of Trumpy's brain, causing him to lie with impunity. He's not an uncontrollable liar, even though it benefits him to blame some unknown force for causing it. Trumpy is simply the worst there ever was by his own volition. He is dedicated and determined to disregard any and all social and moral limitations in the service of self-gratification, power enhancement, and riches. HE MAKES THIS CHOICE with every breath he takes. He has no business being in charge of any thing or any one. He will destroy everything not for his benefit.
