(23,123 posts)I love my rescue Aussie, he's so smart and so good (for the most part). He was really anxious after being kept in a cage most of the time for a year, but after only a month, he's calmed down so much. We are still working on getting him to stop terrorizing the cats, but have made a ton of progress so far. I still wouldn't leave him alone with them, might be unsafe, but he listens to us so all's good as long as we're home. It's not a problem when we're not home, I give him a treat and he goes right in his crate. Can;t believe how lucky we were to get this beautiful, sweet, smart guy given to us for free!! We were looking for a border collie or Aussie, but they were all so expensive, and then Finley just landed in our laps.

(4,168 posts)She chased the cats which was what I wanted her to do. I believe all pets need to be kept in their own yard. Not just not the bother the neighbors, but for their own safety.
I digress. Our Sandy treated us like her own herd to protect and love. I miss her 20 years later.
