So in three weeks: National government workers strike?

If Trump wants to play his stupid, lets shut down the government, game again all govt workers need to immediately go on strike in three weeks time!

That ass will drag it out another month or so periodically throughout the year if they don't.

Kneecap MF45 and his damned GOP traitor party the second he does another govt shutdown!

ZERO aircraft flying anywhere will bring the traitors in the GOP and white house around real quick I bet!

I work in DC and know many many government employees. They aren't going to risk their jobs. There will be no "national government workers strike".

it's a career, not a job. When you're in it for the long haul, you won't do things to upset the apple cart.

So everyone comes down with the flu at the same time.

Slavery is unconstitutional and yet Donald Shitgibbon forced thousands of government workers and even service members in the Coast Guard to work for free.

The FBI agents that arrested Stone today were apparently not getting paid either.

5. Not "work[ing] for free". Working for delayed payment.

There's this huge difference. Really. It's a major difference.

So these people just go to the bank that holds their morgage, their credit cards, landlords, auto loans, grocery store, doctors, dentists etc and say...

Hey I'm working 40 hours a week for delayed payment so you won't mind if I let your payment slide till I get paid at some future unknown date, right?

Yeah, that will work.

how inherently offensive it is to invoke slavery as a comparison to delayed payments? Pro-tip; a delayed paycheck is not the equivalent of being bought and sold like farm equipment. Work on your analogies.

Fuck me.

even if they eventually will get paid (and if they're contractors they won't get paid at all), I really doubt that large numbers of these people would risk losing those jobs permanently. And a co-ordinated sick-out would be an illegal wildcat strike and they really would risk being fired. But in any event, now that Pelosi has Trump's balls in a little jar on her desk he won't try this shutdown stunt again.
