The House just passed the shutdown deal ending bill.

....I think. It was almost all legalese, except for a brief moment when Steny Hoyer remarked that he hoped that the events of the last 35 days would never be repeated.

House is now adjourned until Monday.

On a related note, the house.gov beta live stream is, well, it's not good. I miss having C-SPAN. :-/

The clerk read a communication from the Senate. Someone asked for unanimous consent. It was granted. She asked for unanimous consent again. Steny reserved the right to object just long enough to briefly scold the Repubs for a few seconds. Motion passed. House adjourned.
