His ego will not withstand the onslaught.

(7,947 posts)and it means in three more weeks, when there will probably be other indictments, Trump can have another temper tantrum and threaten that emergency measure, which you know he'd love.
His whole purpose at this point is to divert attention from whatever Mueller is doing. All those employees? Cannon fodder.
Really, it's almost unbelievable how very little he cares about all the standard things most presidents-- heck, most bosses-- care about-- the employee well-being, the reputation of the organization, the finances, the achievements, the customers.
