The real reason for "The Great Cave"

I've come to the conclusion that given who he is and what we've witnessed over the last two + years, the only reason for Trump to capitulate was that it was somehow costing him money, and the stage of the SOTU speech.

I'd be interested in hearing your opinions but I suspect in one way or another the bottom line was stated above.

After a mid-air collision?, after a A-380 lands on top of a 747 at National Airport?, after a taxi-way/runway collision?...what's it going to take to stop this madness?"

One of those scenarios were bound to happen with aircraft dodging winter storms and not enough air traffic controllers that weren't pissed off and broke.

Airports are shut down, making the optics of going to Mar A Lago untenable. It costs him money because he can't charge Secret Service for cart rental.

The shutdown started affecting terminal departures & wait times-and shutdowns.

With the highest rating blah blah blah coming up he was probably scared of getting blamed when the "fans" started getting delayed or even miss the game & hotel fee's etc....

As the only person with any power to draw that line was McTurtle, I’ll assume it was communicated to Shitbrains by McTurtle that the game was over.

That was one of my first questions when I heard that Donald Trump had agreed to open up the government. I wondered if his sudden willingness to open up the government was due to his not wanting to miss out on an audience cheering him in the Capitol building.

Frustrated oligarchs who don't want to be inconvenienced put the screws to the Turtle Gang to get the goddam airports running at full speed NOW--OR ELSE!?
