They probably won't be nice and call you up and ask you to come down to the station to be charged. Stone just found that out.
One of the biggest mistakes Trump and all these crooked assholes have made is, they have attacked and insulted the law. The law does not take kindly to that. They remember.

(11,802 posts)They were dumb enough to attack US intelligence. If you've got secrets? They'll find em.

(3,433 posts)... once we experience a bit of success and power.
We all better be able to insult and attack the law. We better fight to protect that right too.
We shouldn't be talking like this... Ever.

(44,131 posts)Maybe a cool headed refutation of the OP would be more effective than claiming he is a Dictator?
Captain Stones reply is an example. Straightforward refutation, no hyperbolic name calling.
Of course your mileage may vary. Totally up to you.
I would note OPs is pretty hyperbolic as well. So I cant take it too seriously
Take care and have a great weekend
Now shifting subjects:
For what it is worth heres a straightforward explanation for why FBI conducted the raid and arrest as they did

"This is a standard procedure to arrest someone when you don't have a belief that they've come in voluntarily," Milgram told CNN's "New Day" on Friday morning. "It could be that they're afraid he'll flee, it could be that there's evidence he would destroy and they clearly wanted the element of surprise."
I speculate a lot of it was because they wanted the evidence and thought he would destroy it.

(3,433 posts)I just don't agree that my comment isn't extreme hyperbole.
And I think the issue might be your interpretation, not my words. I say that because... you said that I am "claiming he is a Dictator".
To be clear, I objected to "talking like dictators".
I would agree, that if I had claimed "he is a Dictator", that would be extreme hyperbole.

(44,131 posts)I definitely do get your point and it does sound like I misinterpreted your post. Am a bit wound up today over some other discussions on DU, very sorry for misinterpreting you. . I apologize.

(2,201 posts)My heart is with what you're saying, but my head is not.
I think "The law" (law enforcement agents) should treat everyone the same, regardless of whether or not they've been insulted or "attacked".
Law enforcement agents should do their jobs......no more, and no less.

(2,199 posts)Next in line are the bigger criminals - and the FBI won't hesitate to show up unannouced at 4:30 am and do the same to them.
I imagine Don Jr. is paranoid as hell right now.
When he gets arrested just like Stone, how do you think daddy will react?
