Lemme start by saying I am not suggesting the NottaDemocrat is in league with the Russians. I AM saying the Russians are parasitic members of the NottaDemocrat's fan base. As they did in 2016, they are almost certain to continue their cyberwar to demoralize and divide Democrats and supporters of Democrats through the NottaDemocrat's apparatus.
The best thing for everyone on our side is for NottaDemocrat to sit down and stay out of the race. NottaDemocrat now has little chance of winning. Many see NottaDemocrat as, at a minimum, a divider. I expect ND's support will be far less than it was in the last election cycle.
Most would be very pleased to see ND sit it out and, if ND can't support the Democratic nominee, to simply STFU.
Just my two denarii.

If he doesn't get the votes, he'll lose.
Either way, the people decide.

(44,228 posts)can't wait for NottaDemmorat's affirmation if (s)he joins the race. From the DNC Rules, page 8, top left column:
presidential candidate announces their
candidacy publicly, they must publicly affirm
that they are a Democrat. Each candidate
pursuing the Democratic nomination shall
affirm, in writing, to the National Chairperson
of the Democratic National Committee that
they:
A. are a member of the Democratic Party;
B. will accept the Democratic nomination; and
C. will run and serve as a member of the
Democratic Party.
