Sage Advice for All Remaining Trump Staffers: Just Resign Now!

Send your resignation letter this week and walk out the door. Maybe you'll avoid the coming disaster that awaits Donald Trump. Maybe you'll be able to still land another job out there if you leave now. Maybe not, but your odds are better now than they will be later, once Donny Jr. and Jared have been indicted.

Just walk away and let Donald Trump run things all by himself. Don't look back. Resign and write a book while you're waiting for your next gig to show up. Spill all the beans and maybe you can regain some minor amount of respect from the public. I don't know.

Why punish yourselves further? Just resign and move on with your lives. You made one bad decision by hiring on to the Trump tyranny. Don't make another one by staying.

It's over, now. It's all a failure. Donald Trump has been defeated, and will not rise again. Just leave him lying in the heap he formed when he fell. Don't bother to reconsider. Just leave while you still can.

She's a loose freaking cannon. Maybe she'll be the last staffer in the West Wing, when it all ends. Maybe she'll go down with the ship as it sinks into the vasty deep. Who would even notice?

I can't decide which is worse, her lying or her abject cruelty.

WOMP WOMP

I was looking forward to her disappearing into whatever hole Spicer crawled into. If I never have to hear her speak or see her dead-eyed blank-face again it will be too soon.

He managed to get a special recommendation because of his age. Which makes me think the job opportunities were pretty thin.

Beyond Dancing with The Stars, that is.

stupid/craven enough to seek a job in the Trump regime who would have the good sense to "get while the gettin's good!"

actually is right now. I suspect there are many unfilled positions there. Just from attrition and something like evaporation, as people drift away and don't get replaced.

I can't imagine it being a rewarding place to work for anyone. The mood must be dark with futility and lack of meaningful things to do. Trump appears to think he needs no staff, and can simply sleep and tweet his way through his presidency. We are living through an unpresidented time in our history, I think.

And from what I have heard about his obscene rages, it's a wonder there is anyone left at all.

I think you are correct, MM, that there are many unfilled positions. Was it satire or did I read somewhere that the White House had to go to a job fair to hire people? Doesn't really matter if it's true or not, but it does leave our country unstable and in danger.

in case he'd like them to wear a wire for a few weeks or grab some documents on their way out the door.
