I'm so sick of the MSM seeking out"average" Trump supporters

to get their "take" on current events. And all this blather about trying to understand how they feel and how we have to empathize with their pain and alienation and blah blah blah.

I haven't yet seen any of these various hosts, pundits, and experts seek out any "average" Clinton voters and ask THEIR take on what's happening. Maybe I haven't been searching hard enough--but for fucks sake, we're in the MAJORITY and yet I see no concerted effort to try to figure out how WE"RE responding to Putin's prank on America. How do the folks who KNEW what a disaster this travesty of an administration would be feel, now that we've been proven right, and then some?

Just sayin'.

Okay, end of rant.

To add insult to injury it's always the same lame story, "Why they're sticking with the president." Then cue up several interviews in which morons give the stupidest reasons possible for why they continue to support Trump.

I don't give a damn what those brain-dead booger-eaters think. Anyone who voted for MF45 can't be trusted for anything, so why keep talking to them?

There are probably 2 reasons.
1) They are ordered to do it because the "librul media" has to show their side
and
2) A Clinton voter is likely to understand the "librul media" played a big part in foisting MF45 and his criminal family onto America. A Clinton voter is also likely to say so on the air and point out media hypocrisy.

So they will keep having nice safe interviews with the knuckledraggers, rather than interview someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

quite the opposite as it alienates an audience that advertisers want to sell their shit to.

advertisers want to sell their products. They don't care who their customers voted for. However poking fun at 40% of their customers isn't the path to selling more products.

I think it has more to do with the right wing bias of most owners of media. And also, and this may sound harsh, the possibility that many in charge of what gets distribution (and what doesn't) are about as misogynist (and racist) in their heart of hearts as Trump.

Remember the chair of CBS who talked about how great Trump was for the company? Surprise surprise--he turns out to be a serial sexual harasser.

An unspoken truth, but possibly a truth nonetheless.

If Hillary had won, the media would be seeking out the average Clinton voter.

But that didn't happen. SO the media doesn't seek out the average Clinton voter for the same reason they don't seek out the average Romney, McCaine, Gore or Dole voter.

I wish folks would realize that the media does have an agenda. To draw advertisers and make money for their stockholders. They aren't in it for politics - it just seems that way.

Now if Hillary decides to run again in 2020, the media will be interviewing Hillary voters like crazy.

But I think it's fair to say that the media is usually interested in interviewing folks who voted for the current president (of any party), if anything to get a read on how they might act in the next election. This is especially true when their is a crisis underway.

And I can't think of time in history when 4 years went by without some sort of crisis.

My memory is that the media is always doing pulse checks on how the public feels the about the current President. Especially those they voted for him.

It may just be that it feels "normal" when they ask about someone you support, but painful when they are asking folks about people you don't support.

THEY are the reason we are stuck with the most embarrassing, deplorable dirt mouthed scumbag as the representative of our nation to the rest of the world.

THEY are the reason we are forced to live with a bloviating, ignorant mobster spew lies 24/7 for the past two years; and we’ve become calloused to having to adjust to blatant, often obviously ridiculous claims by the most disgusting citizen in our country.

I could go on and on...unnecessary government shutdown, raping and plundering of our nation’s air, waters and land..tax giveaways to the richest swine among us at the expense of the other 90% struggling to make ends meet - at a cost of an additional $2,000,000,000,000 !!

Seriously? Fuck them all! G’damned gullible morons are the reason we are in a different bowl of shit stew than the one W left for President Obama to fix - despite an obstructionist repuKKKe Congress. I do a fair amount of channel hopping when something big or hitherto unbelievable happens--which these days is fairly often.

I'm a confirmed news junkie, I admit it. So any given week I tune into all the above, as well as blogs and the major newspapers.

My observation even extends to my local paper. I live in a predominantly blue area of a predominantly blue state. My local newspaper is, by and large, liberal. Yet pretty much every other day there's an op ed from a raving Trumpite explaining how liberals all hate America and are deranged socialists determined to turn us into Venezuela.

Drives me batty--obviously--so I just had to vent. After which I feel better.
