Everyone of the Dems. front liners are terrific.
But IMO.. Kamala Harris is the one to back...
Simple as that!

(11,949 posts)But if Senator Brown declares I will back him with my efforts and donations.
I have wanted him since early 17.
And a Brown/Harris ticket would result in a landslide win.

(6,139 posts)I think a lot of people are going to coalesce around her. Her prosecutor background is unique in the field of candidates and we will need those skills more than anything going forward and ensure all criminals indicted in the mueller probe are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I dont think Eric Holder is running - he has no charisma.
Im curious to see her travelling around the country especially midwestern states and see how she connects with middle america voters. I am an early supporter and have been following her since she was a district attorney in SF when I first moved there. The only other candidate that may swing my vote would be Sherrod Brown. I wont vote for Biden in the primary cause I dont think he can win in the general because his views are carbon copy of Clintons and we know how that worked out; he wont get any meaningful media coverage. I do like Warren as a senator but she is not being creative with her campaign recycling same talking points over and over again that they start to lose any meaning and the dna test was a tota pr disaster that she could not control (imagine how shell handle real campaign scandals).

I really would like to hear her explanation, if she has any.

(6,139 posts)of battling transnational gangs which was her specialty. She was a prosecutor first and foremost, not a defence attorney - she wanted to have the most tools available to combat gang activity. In any case, I beleive the bill did not become law; nor this issue even register anywhere near the top 100 I actually care about.

(15,682 posts)I love Kamala. I'm a Californian. I can't even describe the possibilities I've thought of when it comes to the possibility of having a fellow Californian to support. But other than Kamala's Senate race in 2016 I don't have a lot of information to judge her by.
Over the last 2 years I have watched both Harris and Klobuchar in action, questioning mostly liars and thieves and I've got to say I love them both.
Amy Klobuchar has more experience than Harris, and is loved by pretty much everyone, but Kamala Harris is possibly a little tougher and more outgoing. I honestly don't know. It is hard to judge at this point.
My only true wish is that neither goes negative on the other. I kind of trust these two women will make us proud no matter what the outcome is.

(47,517 posts)Klobuchar, with her Midwest sensibilities can attract voters in the Midwest and in the South who may be apprehensive about a Californian.
There is nothing in her background that can be used against her except for not being "Fiery" and we'v had all the fire that we ever needed from the White House.
