A Howard Schultz independent run would help Trump.

Starbucks is publicly traded with obligations to its shareholders. A boycott would bring it to its knees. I assure you a lot more anti-Trumpers patronize Starbucks than pro-Trumpers.

ON EDIT- I learned that Schultz stepped down as CEO but he is still Chairman Emeritus and owns 34.7 million shares.

We are our own worst enemy. And dumb dumb dumb.

It’s unity that wins. Even if we don’t get ‘everything’, we cannot continue down these many roads and end up nowhere we want to be.

5. It won't be Democratic voters, they will vote for the Democratic nominee, it is the independent

voter that would be at stake

The best these independent could accomplish is forcing the election to be decided by the House of Representatives, where the controlling party would decide the next president, and it would be these third party jerks

He does have an actual track record, and he very well could run as an independent this time around...

We will find out a lot more about the character of Bernie depending on how he, and his surrogates, handle the primary process.

In this case, being a registered Democrat is actually a negative, because it's clear he would position himself to take votes from the Democratic nominee. He is a fiscal conservative, social liberal, so not too many Trump supporters will back him. His positions are: no universal healthcare, no free college, no full employment. However, he would cut entitlements to get them under control.
