Why didn't the FBI just call Stone to come downtown on his own?

Was he really thst big of a threat to skip the country or to destroy evidence?

Why did they raid his house with 29 agents and 17 vehicles?

Was this an abuse of power by the FBI?

Last Friday, FBI Director Christopher Wray, commented about the agents that were working without pay and the morale within the Department.

In my opinion, the FBI wanted to send a message to those scofflaws that ignore the laws and corrupt our institutions. They wanted to show them that the FBI had the power and the intent to protect our country.

Was the FBI correct in using so much force in the raid of the home of Roger Stone?

Did an FBI agent find evidence of an illicit affair and ruin his career? When Trump declares the next partial shutdown, which will again target US Federal investigating or policing agencies, how many unpaid FBI agents will be assigned to investigate Teflon Don and his ring of wealthy, organized criminals, who dare not "Rat out" Trump?

Stone has sent death-threats and there are photos of him with machine-guns.

If the FBI doesn't come down big time on THIS guy, we will hear complaints next time they try to arrest another guy wo sent death-threats and had a thing for guns.

I have seen several photos of Stone shooting auto or semi-auto rifles
at various places. He promotes himself as a tough guy and I suspect
the FBI took that into consideration pre-raid.

It was not only an arrest warrant, but also a search warrant for electronic and other documentary evidence. They didn't want to risk Stone destroying evidence, so the Feds were justified, contrary to Stone's melodramatic whining.

And Mr. Stone is such a nice fellow. Trustworthy to a fault. Salt of the earth. The kind of guy who goes the extra mile. Like when he threatens someone who's crossed him, he remembers to include not just his enemy's family, but the dog, too. You don't see that kind of thoroughness from a thug every day. A lot of hoodlums might remember to threaten the family, but the family dog? That's the hallmark of an asshole who's really done his homework.
