Ya Gotta Laugh

Listening to Steve Cortes on CNN tonight explain how Trump’s cave was actually a “pResident” realizing how many Americans were suffering because of the shutdown and decided to stand up for them, was yet another LOL moment – and there have been a lot of those LOLs going around these days.

In other words, Trump was so moved by the suffering he himself needlessly inflicted, he decided to end it. Isn’t that like praising a dog abuser announcing that he’s going to stop beating the animal – because he suddenly decided to stand up for a dog who’s being needlessly beaten?

Republican spokes-whores have become such a treasure trove of laughable material, I think they should go on tour – appearing at places like Uncle Lucky’s Chuckle Huts across the nation, doing bits about how putting kids in cages is making America safer – yadda, yadda, yadda, as they say in the biz.

But wait – there’s more! The real roll-in-the-aisle guffaws are yet to come. When Mueller’s findings are revealed, it will be a laugh-riot hearing these political stand-up wannabees deliver punchlines like ”… and how that lying, pussy-grabbing, Russian-colluding, traitor elephant got into the Republican party’s pyjamas I’ll never know!”

There will be even less of an inclination to give him anything, and he will lose more of his base because the close down was the one and only thing that caused his base to shrink. Even he knows that because he already caved for those reasons.

So his base may be quite willing to watch him shoot someone in NYC, but that’s because they think N.Y. is liberal, but when he hurts his base they aren’t loving it.

I’m do hope some intelligence will prevail though. Surely he can’t be that self destructive.

The Senate could override his veto if he doesn't sign whatever funding bill they send him. It's up to Mitch McConnell.

8. Pure and unadulterated BS. Trump caved because McConnell and high level Republicans told

him behind closed doors that he had to end the shutdown because of damage to the GOP and the 2020 elections. They don't give a shit about the country, or even the president's ratings.

So why did Cheato shut it down anyway? Because nobody tells the "smartest man in the room" what to do. Or rather, whatever you tell him, he'll do the exact opposite just to show you how smart he is.

And they seem to have given mouth-breathing Jack Kingston the boot as well. Gone too is Scottie Nell Boohoo, Katrina Peerless and Kayleigh MacAhNinny. I haven't seen the porcine Jason Miller on for a while, but then he's got legal troubles - something about fathering a child out of wedlock and then trying to slip the mom an abortifacient against her will and without her knowledge.

Now if they could get rid of Rick Sanatorium, Mike Huckleberry and Kelly Ann ConJob.

I'm so glad he only hired the best. Aren't you ?
