The compromise I think they'll end up with...

will include something along the line of a few billion for "border barrier maintenance."

Doesn't explicitly pre- or proscibe building more barriers, but emphasizes improvements and maintenance of existing fences, etc.

Just a thought.

It'll fund a study by the DHS to determine how much additional fencing will be required. Possibly with funding automatically available (in two years) once the report is submitted.
