A man who calls for the removal of Confederate Statues is clearly not a racist.
People changed and Northam has.

(1,368 posts)look at someone's record on the issues that may surround a belief that they carry forward from such poor judgments in the past. Who has not made such errors in their own lives? It is what they have done with those mistakes that is important in their redemption. I have no knowledge of Gov. Northam's record in these matters, but it appears to me that many are just willing to condemn without looking at their actual behavior since such errors. This is the rush to judgment that we must be careful with and it is something that we as rational and emphatic human beings should avoid.
