Funny how many of the same accounts who were sure Periello was the "only progressive" 2 years ago

are now looking for excuses to keep Northam on rather than letting Justin Fairfax step up as Governor.

I can't believe this is even a discussion. We don't lack for a bench in the Old Dominion.

I know there are people supporting Northam. They strike me as super partisans that care more about party than about issues. I'm skeptical they would be Periello supporters.

from out of nowhere comes a tape of Fairfax saying 'all white people should be shot' from 25 years ago ... probably taken totally out of context ...

Or some similar bullshit, thus leading to said Confederate taking over the Office of Governor?

Boy, won't we feel smart then?

Whoever is 'doing this', who brought this out at this time ... I kinda doubt they haven't already thought their little scheme through to the end. And I doubt that 'end' was removing Northam, to get Fairfax into the Gov's mansion.

I mean, unless it was Fairfax's people who dug it up and got it out there.
