The issues we are discussing now may all become secondary in the 2020 election.

The damage Trump has done cannot be measured yet.

The corruption by Trump, his people and others cannot be measured yet.

The damage done to our foreign policy and the world order cannot be measured yet. That scares me.

The damage done by the biggest scandal in American history cannot be measured yet.

If the bill comes due for the above before the 2020 election, we will all pay, the conversation will change. We could be talking about a national tragedy.

In general, I still sense a disconnect between the American people and the true danger we are in. Maybe things will turn out OK and we will not pay a heavy price for all this madness and stupidity. I wouldn't bet on it.
