What he just said here is a massive threat:

He only trusts Intelligence personnel that he personally installs.

Which means that these people are going to toe the Trump/Putin agenda, and if this happens, there won't BE such a thing as "National Security" left.

If he's stocking our national security apparati with Russian plants, which is likely given the rest of the picture we are aware of, we may be on the verge of a calamity far worse than bad governing. I'm not one for histrionics, but Putin wants to destroy us and he may simply be setting up a time and place to implement an act or acts of evil.
