Was it the "Don't put too much shoe polish on your face, its hard to get off." that kept you on board?

Mr. Quackers
(443 posts)They figured out a successful strategy to remove Democrats from office without using the electoral process.

(99,710 posts)As long as Justin Fairfax unequivocally denies the charges and Ms. Tyson remains silent he is entitled to the presumption of innocence...

(51,308 posts)I saw the list on another thread about leaders whove spoken out about this Northam mess.
Have either of the Obamas spoken, or are they just staying out of it?

He'll be quitting today, as he should have done days ago. What an arrogant fool he is.

(428 posts)Otherwise we'd be having problems in Virginia.
Honestly based off of the people still defending him on here, I wouldn't be surprised if this fact has something to do with the dead-enders still going down with the ship. The last thing any of them want to do is admit that their slavish devotion to centrism failed in any way.

Let's see MM run for a public office in Michigan, and how well he does.

He was also wrong about the 2018 midterms
Now predicting that Trump will win a second term. I am sure if that prediction turns out against him it will be conveniently forgotten by him.
MM is no prophet, and except for a few exceptional movies from the past, he is trying to do everything to get attention, since his current projects are not getting much traction

(1,714 posts)that kind of casts doubt on whether it was Northam in the yearbook photo.
It was in a Gateway Pundit article, which was linked from a comment after a WaPo article. (I won't link to a rightwing source, like the GP.)
It shows a guy in a pic wearing plaid pants that may be the same pants on the blackface guy in the yearbook photo.
DH looked at it, and says the pants aren't the same, but I think the difference could be in the quality of the picture.
Regardless, Northam admitted to wearing blackface, there is the heinous nickname, and a number of other examples of racist behavior. He needs to go, but I'm not so sure it's him in the yearbook photo.
Oneironaut
(5,504 posts)When Northam resigns, theyll go gunning for Fairfax. This is a coordinated effort by anti-abortion extremists. Dont believe me? Just watch. Within a month (or short time) of Northams resignation, something will be dug up from Fairfaxs past. There will calls to resign - especially from Democrats.
The issue isnt how evil blackface is. Its that this is a soft coup by extremists who will stop at no cost to get in power. Proceed at your own peril - this is more than a racist yearbook picture and career-ending press conference.
