Patriots player: I won't visit White House, but it 'would be dope' to meet Obama instead

Patriots player: I won't visit White House, but it 'would be dope' to meet Obama instead
By Avery Anapol - 02/04/19 09:07 AM EST

New England Patriots player Duron Harmon said that he won’t visit President Trump’s White House to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl win.

Speaking to TMZ Sports after the Patriots’ win against the Los Angeles Rams, Harmon said he wouldn’t join his teammates for a visit.

“They don’t want me in the White House,” said Harmon, who plays safety for the Patriots.

He did, however, acknowledge it “would be dope” to meet former President Barack Obama, like the Golden State Warriors did earlier this year.

“We love you over here, man,” Harmon said, referring to Obama.

...and two years ago trump had only been in office for two weeks, the lies hadn't started flowing freely.

The Eagles trip was cancelled last year because most of the players decided not to go. The Red Sox haven't been there yet, but Alex Cora isn't sure he'll go if they ever schedule a trip.

All except Brady went after they beat the Seahawks and President Obama was President, Belichick even went to the Correspondents Dinner after the visit as a guest of President Obama. Brady had a previously scheduled endorsement trip and would not cancel, easy to understand when he makes around $15 million per year from endorsements, about the same as his salary for playing.

I figure this is a good time to mention Tom Brady hasn’t uttered a kind word about Drumpf in at least three years, his wife stated publicly they don’t support him and he skipped the last trip to the WH when they won the SB in 2016. Whole lotta people around here need to get current with their data. Have a lovely day.

perhaps a couple people might give a flip. Till then, he is still MAGA. He publicly endorsed this racist, unhinged travesty over sane, informed, competent leadership and he's stuck with it.

If the team I stood for had a player who backed Trump, I would NOT continue to (at least verbally) back that team until said player was out of the picture. I used to root for the Pats. My friends are all from RI and love the team. I cannot, until they rid themselves of Brady, or if Brady comes out and denounces Trump.
