I want REAL-TIME fact-checking during the SOTU speech! Networks can use the bottom of the screen (the area normally used for scrolling headlines and "breaking" headlines).

The text of the speech is generally given to news outlets before the speech, so a team of a dozen readers/researchers can each be given a page to fact-check and have the "pop-up" facts ready to go and synchronized to appear on-screen at the exact moment he tells a lie.

Is that too much to ask?

on one of his loony rants, those lies have already been fact checked and could easily be added to the chyron.

"Fact Check That! "

Can we get some Dems at the SOTU to hold up small signs with that plea every time Mango Mussolini prevaricates ?

Pelosi, sitting right behind him, would be best but I doubt she'd go for it.

Ahhh... the Latin phrase translates to: "Who watches the watchers?" ... I'm sure that's exactly what Trump and the GOP are concerned about, too. They fear the truth.

The networks could put an asterisk in a corner of the screen so as not to interrupt the speech, but to let the viewer know that more information is coming about that point.

for the chyron not functioning.

The program that 'drives' it across the screen has overheated.
We hope to use some household fans to help with the existing cooling configuration.
Thanks for your patience.
