Gingrich compares Trump's reported use of executive time to Churchill

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-S.C.) on Monday likened President Trump's leaked schedules that showed swaths of "executive time" to former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill's work habits.

"The distortions of the hate Trump movement are never more obvious than in the reaction to the President's leaked schedule," Gingrich tweeted. "The ignorance of history of the current elites is pathetic. Churchill slept late, worked late, took a nap every afternoon ( getting into his pajamas)."

The former Speaker, a staunch defender of the president, praised the Trump administration for its economic policies, trade negotiations and actions toward Venezuela.

"If Trump's schedule leads to all this he should be applauded for his focus," Gingrich tweeted.

It's taken a handful of decades for the rot to spread so widely and deeply. So, yes, there's that.

Trump is not.

Churchill was run out of office after WW2 as well.

Churchill knew Hitler was a threat, while Trump is a cuck to Putin.

Churchill took 2 hour naps and worked round the clock otherwise. Trump's "Executive" Time is 60% of his time.
