When BET was stilled owned by blacks!!

Also learned about the Tom Joyner show and crew on a show Smiley did from Joyner's studio.

And Smiley had a long interview with Taylor Branch about Branch's work on MLK. Really resonated with me when Branch said something on the order of King having awakened his conscience and he was never the same afterward!

IIRC Branch said HRC told him King had had the same effect on her!
