Do the Conservatives in VA have anything on Attorney General Mark Herring?

On Friday, a Conservative website showed a 1984 medical school yearbook photo of Governor Ralph Northam with a person in blackface and a person in a klan outfit. Northam's political career has went downhill.
Northam's successor if Northam resigns is Lt Governor Justin Fairfax. Today we hear allegations of Fairfax being involved in sexual assault 15 years ago. If Fairfax becomes Governor, he has to face re-election in 2021.
The other VA Democratic statewide elected official - Attorney General Mark Herring who is in his 2nd term as term as Attorney General is planning to run for Governor in 2021. If the allegations against Fairfax is true, Fairfax should not run for Governor in 2021 and endorse Herring.

If Fairfax becomes Governor, a special election will be held for the LT Governors position. Whoever becomes LT Governor suceeds Fairfax as Governor I beleive.
