Per CNN the ApricotHellbeast will sign the antishutdown bill

Sourcehttps://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2019/02/13/politics/trump-border-security-deal/index.html

snip--"Trump said Tuesday that he was "not happy" with the tentative deal reached by congressional negotiators late Monday night that falls far short of his original demands."
More at article.

Every time I hear on the radio, his whineass "I'm not happy" quote, I feel a little bit happier. F that guy ( daily comment)

His handlers, Hannity and Limpballs don't like it, that is all that matters.

I mentioned this in a reply a couple of days ago. If there were another shutdown it would end quickly because of what you say. Also because air traffic controllers are fed up. The controllers were the final straw last time.

I’ll also say again i expect the wall to be a 2020 campaign issue for MangoMephostopheles. The dog whistle gets the base excited. The point was never to complete the wall.

From the lovely Betty Cracker at Balloon Juice, who (I think) swiped it from somewhere else:

March 2018: Democrats offer $25B in border all funding for a pathway to citizenship for the dreamers. Trump kills the deal by tacking on draconian cuts to LEGAL immigration.

December 2018: Trump demands $5B for wall; Democrats counter with a $1.6B offer. Trump shuts down the government, costing the U.S. economy $11B.

January 2019: Trump caves, ends shutdown in humiliating political defeat, vows to get WALL funding as a condition to fund the government after 2/15/2019.

February 2019: Trump indicates he’ll sign a bill with $1.375 billion “fencing” funds to avoid another shutdown.

To recap, Trump settled for 5.5% of the original offer from 11 months ago. The month-long government shutdown, totally unnecessary, frittered away $11 billion. If "negotiations" had gone on much longer, Trump would be announcing the terms of this deal while wearing an old-timey barrel-and-suspenders get-up.
