https://www.jurist.org/news/2019/02/federal-judge-issues-gag-order-in-roger-stone-case/

Judge Amy Berman Jackson of the US District Court for the District of Columbia issued a gag order on Friday prohibiting Roger Stone, attorneys on both sides, and all witnesses and interested parties from making statements to the media or the public regarding Stone’s criminal case.

All listed persons are further prohibited from making any statements to the media “when they are entering or exiting the courthouse, or [while] they are within the immediate vicinity of the courthouse.”

95. I don't think it reads like that
Mon Feb 18, 2019, 05:42 PM
Feb 2019

It is more broad, if you read the part in bold, it does not address the "vicinity of the court", the one that does starts with "Further more", which I believe it addresses the vicinity of the court due to where the media gathers to wait for the indicted to ask questions, but I believe the gag order covers everything.

This guy is nuts, and to put a crosshair by the judge should get him in jail, this guy is telling his followers, if he has any which I am sure he has a few nut jobs, to shoot at her, that she is a target...

I hope he is put behind bars and he finds a nice fellow in there to keep him company.

I hope the judge doesn't recuse herself. It is unfair that anyone can just bully their way through the court system to shop for someone that they would prefer.

I help by clarifying things. By believing that the truth is an important thing to know, even when it hurts to know it. But always with the intent that if you know the truth you have real choices. That you always have choices about how you react or act in life. By having the attitude that “they” can’t beat us when we are on the right side.

And by validating that hope of better things to come is our most invaluable weapon against despair. By recognizing that despair is what they want us to feel and that our enemy wants to see us crushed by it.

Just refuse to let them define you or your life.

Putin comes to my mind, right off.

We're seeing the playbook being followed. And it has succeeded elsewhere. Why am I wrong to be concerned that what we're seeing here won't have the same result?

Also, if we discount the possibility that that's where this ends up and we've done no mental or practical preparation, then what does that make us?

If that is unacceptable here, do you and the others that have called me out call other doom and gloom threads out?

I can be all cheers, when I feel cheerful. But I have seen nothing to be hopeful about. We have no idea where this is heading. But just don't give the idea that it could go bad for us?

I was shocked at how many of the dirty tricks he was responsible for during the last election. I'm pretty sure the pizza sex shop thing was his.

And he came up with the unforgettable mind picture of Elliot Spitzer liking to have sex with his socks on. Well, who can forget that once you've pictured it. He is an evil man, indeed.

Crook since Noxon. That isall he is. Taught by lee Atwater, who apologized before he died. Stone carried on, along with Karl Rove, who was so dirty H W Bush fired him. Son hired him.

The Republican Party is finally being expsed for what it has alwayseen. Some were smart enough to covr up. Trump, McConnell, Ryan , Nunes, Gowdy and others have exposed the rot.

Applying Occam's razor, it looked to me like he pulled an image off a RWN site, cropped it, and then used it without noticing the cross hairs. The same sort of thing happened on a protest sign in with Osama bin Laden with Sesame Street's Bert.

I honestly don't think he was trying for violence. I think he is a loud idiot.

Maybe have his postings reviewed before being published? Maybe by his legal team?

There are multiple repetitions of the "crosshairs" as part of a repeated logo in the electronic wallpaper the site uses behind a half dozen of the favorite targets of the right wingers.

But that's not a popular opinion here, because everything every right wing nut job does has to be intentional, violent, racist, misogynistic, and over the top.

Some things are just stupid.

The image Stone posted has been traced further. The symbol that looks like crosshairs is apparently the log of an organization called "Corruption Central". (It's still quite possible that Corruption Central intended it to look like crosshairs.)

Both he and trump use vague words and images to threaten others with by inciting followers to suggest there could be violence, and unless there's consequences both with continue doing this to all agency's of law enforcement, and the judicial branch. These two like to use threats against people, then verbally attack them suggesting more . They do this to the press also.

- its an extra cherry on top of knowing just how utterly and completely this ratfkr screwed up today.

You know, I held off for about an hour after seeing his post - I checked his Instagram and didn’t see the picture, and I thought aw, man, this is a bogus post, we’re being played...but I held off mostly because I 100% could not believe he would actually be this criminally ignorant.

So when it was posted that he said he didn’t mean nothin by it, well, yeah, at that point I believed it.

- - But anyway, I appreciate your point about all the other judges looking at this and thinking oh what in the holy hell is THIS??!?!?

Thanks!

But the Celtic cross is a symbol frequently used by White Nationalists and other hate groups. It cannot be assumed the use of the symbol was intended as a suggestion the judge should be shot.

See: https://www.adl.org/education/references/hate-symbols/celtic-cross

I've had to stop wearing a cross I bought in Dublin as a result of the appropriation of this ancient Celtic symbol by such groups.
