Co-host Joe Scarborough asked his guest when you went and talked to the Gang of Eight, when you talked to Mitch McConnell, when you talked to Devin Nunes, any concerns from Nunes, Burr, Ryan or Mcconnell, the Republicans there? McCabe answered clearly that he had no concerns, and when pressed added that he received no pushback whatsoever before explaining how he walked through what he described as a fairly detailed brief
There was resignation at the there were a few nodding heads, McCabe added.
A somewhat gob-smacked Scarborough pressed, asking but you were specific, we are investigating the president of the United States because we are concerned that there may be something amiss regarding his relationship with Russia?
