Clint Watts (MSNBC just now) mentioned concern about "information time bomb" if WikiLeaks indicted

by the Mueller investigation.

From what he said, it's been an ongoing concern that WikiLeaks would respond to indictments with a massive data dump, but this is the first I can recall hearing of it.

This was toward the end of Chris Hayes's show, and they were talking about the Mueller investigation winding down, and what might happen.

Mueller seems to be pretty dirt-free from everything I have read about him. Or would WL go all scorched earth and hurt anything and everything American?

our cyber ability to interrupt both operations and R&D of foreign militarys, including the exploits that we have either installed or discovered.

Stuff like that.

I think they released a decryption key a few years ago. If the timer wasn’t reset within 24 hours the file would be released.

This is another reason why Snowden belongs behind bars as a traitor.

But 'let justice be done, THOUGH THE HEAVENS FALL.'

if what wikileaks has as 'dirt' on our services and processes is so terrible that we cannot handle it, then it's time to deal with that reality as it exists, and make changes as Our Democracy might demand.

I can handle that responsibility as a Citizen; I do not fear it.

From Dune:

'I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total annahilation. I will face my fear. I will turn and watch it pass through me. And where it has gone, only the Self will remain.'

Or something to that effect lol.

Concerning intelligence information may never be given to us. A perfect cover up. Fuck it. If it destroys the country who cares if methods are exposed?

They did it with the data they stole from the Democrats back in 2016. They could dump a ton of data, and it could be all fake.

As an avowed lefty I whole-heartedly denounce a lot of stuff our intelligence community does on a day to day basis. It sort of embodies the concept 'the end justifies the means' which I reject. The predicament is that airing this dirty laundry puts us at a disadvantage vis-a-vis nation states that wish to do us harm. I tend to think that we have do what we think is right and then clean up the mess afterward.
