There is no way Mueller is ending the Investigation

Rachel is covering this now, but I had the same thoughts as I read the bullshit headline from CNN today. Mueller has active indictments (Stone, etc), that must be gone through. There is an active challenge that has gone all the way to the SCOTUS that has not been resolved. These things have not been concluded and must be before any Special Counsel would conclude their business.

This is plain and simple an attempt by the new AG to shut down the investigation. I don’t think Mueller is going to let this just happen. There are things that he can do to make the information public. McCabe is a harbinger of what is to come. If people think his words have been a bombshell, wait until Mueller starts talking.

It was about to expire and you have to ask for 6 months at a minimum. So even if you only wanted it for a week you ask for 6 months.

This is Rachel at her worst, fearmongering instead of having experts on to talk about the law. Hopefully the rest of the show improves.

The Special Counsel law was created, in part, so that a SC investigation could not be stopped by the President or the AG.

This pit of mobsters don't give a damn about laws, norms, or rules. That extends to the republican senators who would have act as honest servants of the American electorate for trump to be brought to justice. When in recent history has that been the case?

And, even if it's true, it ain't over. Like Malcolm Nance has been saying, if they try to shut this thing down, there will be pallet-loads of documents arriving on the doorsteps of the NY Times and the Washington Post.

and now I watch the MSM bringing up the but,,no final report issued yet,,no this is what Dear Trump meant... ok when do we as Dems stop being so damn nice and pay enough attention to what is going on?

IMHO,,,time for us as Dems to stop worrying about being nice and correct,, tonight Chuck Todd proved to me how they play us,, time to stand up Dems,,,!!! period!!!!
