those casting blame are really only projecting their own weaknesses. I've never seen such thin skinned people as Fox watching republicans. It seems to take very little to set them off.

Liberals are typically fighting for a world that is more fundamentally just and equitable, where people are protected from the excesses of powerful interests and are generally able to make decisions about their personal lives as long as those decisions do not put other people in harm's way.

Conservatives are about protecting the status quo. They protect (in my opinion) a nostalgic and mythical time period where they think everything was great. What they really appear to be protecting is a world view in which they were unquestioned in their top perch in the social hierarchy, where minorities, gay people, and women who did not conform to their views of gender roles could be silenced and punished as needed without consequence. Where their story was the only story and the only experience that counted as valid.

As you said, they call liberals "snowflakes" for being upset when Black people, immigrants, women, and other marginalized groups are being insulted and actively oppressed, while hey themselves whine about not being free to oppress said groups without social and sometimes legal consequences.

If you think being meek is weak, try being meek for a week.

I live among "them" in central Pa. I'm ready to cancel my local newspaper subscription because they added a column by Ann Coulter. I will miss the local stuff and I always check the obits. to make sure my name isn't included, but enough is enough.

Scientists actually did a study that found that the area of the brain that involves fear is more pronounced in "conservatives," the word they used. So there is physical evidence that Republicans are more fearful than liberals. It doesn't matter though since Republicans don't believe in science.

everyone else must be fearful like them, just like liars such as Trump assume everyone is lying too.

If you have to prove your not a snowflake then you might already be one or perceived as one.

As the old saw goes, “There is room for conservatives to exist in a liberal world, but no room for liberals in a conservative world.”

But we draw a hard line at fascism, and still fight for decency, fair play, the rule of law and respect for ALL people.

Who can't handle the slightest differing opinion?

Who harasses stores during the holidays because they don't greet customers with "Merry Christmas?"

Who has a president who repeatedly attacks anyone who so much as breathes in his direction the wrong way?

Who threw their Keurigs out the window and burned their NFL merchandise?

Who is so fragile that they need their own 24/7 news network that constantly feeds them propaganda telling them they are right?
