To understand why Mueller doesn't file indictments against Trump, you must understand media.

What would happen if Mueller were to file one or two or three indictments against Trump?

1. There would be public handwringing.
2. Followed by right-wing outrage how dare he.
3. Followed by accusations that this is all part of a deep-state witch-hunt coup yaddayaddayadda.
4. Followed by an evaporation of public pressure because there would inevitably come a new topic of the day. Trump would run down the clock until Pence pardons him or whatever.

The public pressure on politicians to hold Trump accountable would evaporate, because the public would get distracted by yet another stupid thing Trump tweeted.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut...

What would happen if Mueller were to file 10 indictments against Trump, plus 5 against Trump Jr., plus 5 against Kushner, all at the same time?

Trump's whole clan indicted for crimes committed before the campaign, during the campaign, after the campaign.

A VERITABLE SHITLOAD OF INDICTMENTS. A SHITLOAD SO BIG THAT TRUMP CANNOT DISTRACT THE PUBLIC.

By filing or unsealing the indictments all at once, Mueller would force Trump, the WH, his spokespeople and his lawyers to deal with them all at once.

No more handwaving to make the scandal-of-the-week go away in one interview. Now they would have to make 20 scandals go away in one interview.

And there is no way you can defend yourself against 20 different accusations in one interview or one tweet.

What could Trump and his spokespeople possibly do or say to make the public forget that the President is now indicted for a shitload of crimes?

From that point onward, anything Trump does or says would be tainted in the eyes of the public by the knowledge that he's a crook.

"We are now going live to the traditional White House Easter Egg Roll. The trials against the President, his son and his son-in-law are still ongoing."

And that taint would create the public pressure on the Republicans to actually do something.

Imagine:
- You did something bad. Your significant other finds out. You apologize or lie about it or whatever.
- You did 20 bad things. Your significant other finds out. Now you have to come up with apologies or lies for 20 bad things in one go, in one speech. Good luck with that.

As to how to handle indictments against 45 and his family. It is a very delicate situation. He is still the sitting president and they are members of his family.

Yes, he is a shitbag. And so are his kids and Jared. But...this is delicate and if it is mishandled it could undermine the entire Mueller probe.

family for numerous offenses might buck the Justice Dept. "rule" and indict Dear Leader. I hope they do. We need to find out once and for all who is and is not above the law.

They are saying this is almost over.

What is the outcome of the Flynn case, the gates case, what about the manafort case.

Why didnt Mueller subpoena the president to testify? This happened to Bill Clinton on a civil case.

Where are these other indictments?

What about all the sealed indictments or sealed filings in the court system we heard about?

Is this only down to a case of Obstruction and thats it?

What happened to the money laundering or the back and forth between Stone, Guccifer, Wikileaks and a high up trump senior campaign member?

what about the scenario of McCabe, Rosenstein being witnesses to obstruction? Where is the case?

How does this all wrap up about the same time as Barr takes over, Rosenstein leaves, Senator Burr says no direct evidence of collusion and the president leaves the country during this time. It all seems coordinated?

Something is not right here and I am getting Nervious that Mueller might be playing into the Party.
