The blue wave, which just tickled their tootsies in 2018, is gathering again for 2020. Republicans had a free run on an open field for two years and couldn't accomplish anything but a major wealth transfer to their overrich pals. The 2020 Senate map is more favorable for Democrats than the 2018 map was for Republicans. Even at that, they made only minimal pick ups. After 2020, they're going to find themselves firmly and irrevocably in the minority, having to present a case for their privilege rather than just having it assumed. It's not sitting well with some of Trump's supporters.
