Ocasio-Cortez Fires Back at Laura Ingraham For Posting Wack Billboard That Criticizes Her Over Amazon HQ2by Aidan McLaughlin | Feb 21st, 2019, 7:45 am
Fox News host Laura Ingraham posted a photo of a billboard up in Times Square that criticizes Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) over Amazon pulling out of its HQ2 expansion in New York.
The billboard funded by Job Creators Network, a conservative advocacy group calls out the freshman Democrat for opposing Amazons move.

Ocasio-Cortez replied on Twitter: Few things effectively communicate the power weve built in fighting dark money & anti-worker policies like billionaire-funded groups blowing tons of cash on wack billboards (this one is funded by the Mercers).
If youre a regular reader of Breitbart, a website funded by the Mercer family, you might recognize Job Creators Network from the frequent articles the website used to run promoting the group which is also funded by the Mercer family.

In her tweets, Ocasio-Cortez also made sure to point out that Times Square is the worst. She posted an iconic clip of The Offices Michael Scott calling one particular part of the Square featuring a gigantic Red Lobster and equally mammoth Bubba Gump Shrimp the heart of civilization.

(82,849 posts)How do they have time to put up billboards against a freshman representative, when they should be creating scads of jobs with the oodles of money the Republican tax break showered on them?
They might also come to regret creating the ThanksAOC.com website.

(14,577 posts)Talk about a misleading organizational name.
Cause it ain't about job creation. It is about minimum wage job creation, right to work stuff. No benefits. Some Amazon fulfillment center workers pee in bottles because the restrooms are so far away and they are scared they'll get in trouble. Talk about a meaningless, hateful place to work.
But hey, don't you feel good the Mercer's just got that giant tax cut?
