I wonder if Alec met with the bunny "food or pets" lady?

All kidding aside, Good for him for doing this. I know Alec can be "complicated" at times, but he's an overall good guy.

I don't think Michael comes around, as much, since his father's death. Last I knew he still owned a house in Davison, which is east of Flint (Davison is Michael's 'home town').

It would be interesting if someone followed up on 'pets or meat' lady (Rhonda Britton). Last I heard she was still living in the same house, but no longer sells rabbits - she's more into scrap metal and rat terriers (as pets!).

That part of the movie struck a chord with me (maybe because Fatal Attraction came out at the same time ).

And thank you for the Moore insight. I've been a fan for 30 yrs (Since Roger & Me).

I'd see and talk to Michael every so often. I remember him as being VERY quiet and shy but also kind of sweet. Years later I met up with him at an awards dinner and I was surprised at how much he hadn't changed. He stayed around and talked with EVERYONE, and was one of the very last people to leave.

I fully admit I've always had a very soft spot, in my heart, for Michael.

...minus the filmmaking talent, of course.
