Do We Have To Be Prepared For Trump & His Family.....

getting off scot free?

Since the Mueller investigation was initiated we all had at least the feeling that Trump's days were numbered and he would be held accountable for all the crap he's pulled since he came down the escalator at Trump Tower.

Now we hear we're within weeks of Mueller's report being filed and somehow I personally have a feeling that it is far from complete and some important figures involved with Trump during this time have not been adequately shakened down by Mueller. Case in point: DT Jr., Ivanka, Kushner, Bannon - to name a few.

Though I fully trust that Mueller knows what he is doing - I can't help but feel that the people Trump has placed around him - Barr, Pence and his now chief of staff and the Repugs in general - will do everything in their power to circle the wagons around Trump and he'll get away with all this - just like everything he's pulled to date has been normalized.

Therefore I'm kinda preparing myself that Trump will walk to live another day/term and quite frankly I don't know how I'll be able to cope with that.

After dealing with the daily demoralization of Trump - How does one prepare to have to deal with more of the same from this arrogant, treasonous criminal going forward should Trump and his anti-constitutional ways persist beyond a Mueller report?

Trump has been acting really cocky lately. I just have a bad feeling about this in my tummy.

the SDNY and other districts have the information to bring down all of his businesses and take the money. Let him have to sell Mar a Lago and live in a small condo.

My husband keeps talking about orange jump suits for the trump clan and I'm like, "None of them will ever set foot in jail". Not gonna happen.

There is a very real possibility that nothing substantive will happen. It may be on the democrats in the House to decide if there is any "there" there.

I think Mueller has had the screws put to him but hopefully has the backing of others help him get Trump on Federal charges. I won’t be happy if it all just goes away.
The fact they haven’t hauled DJTjr in yet makes me worry, too.

I don't think Spanky will resign as Nixon did. But, I do agree that all the cockiness is just covering for the fact that he's likely shitting his pants. The stench from it is overwhelming.

And the department of the DOJ will be looked at as nothing more than a joke, and the people running it. Heads will role next election if they allow them to escape justice. The republican party will be destroyed over that.

We're not in control of a lot of things, so being prepared for them not to go our way should be a matter of course.

We have ways to change our government. We need to be working on making those changes, rather than wrapping ourselves all up in other issues.

2020 is fast approaching!

I have had a bad feeling about where this is going since Barr was anointed AG, particularly in light of his 'helpful 19 page memo' explaining why Trump shouldn't be held accountable for anything. I am seriously afraid that the Mueller investigation will turn out to be Fitzmas II, with all that entails. If we're correct, Trump will be absolutely insufferable.

I realize I have not been popular for emphasizing that Trump would emerge mostly unscathed and use it as opportunity to scream witch hunt, but I have to set aside my partisanship and default to big picture logic. It is the same reason I have wagered against my favorite sports teams countless times since 1984.

Mueller is not going to help us defeat Donald Trump. The more we hang onto that if the report goes nowhere in the eyes of the swing vote public, the more we sacrifice toward 2020. Just imagine all the Republican scheming and suppressing that has been going on behind the scenes while we frantically awaited every rumored detail from the investigation.

That is the reason I have insisted that college campus registration drives should have been the priority throughout. There is immense net gain as long as Trump's approval rating is 40% or nearby.
