Politicians and the rich have rigged our justice system. It gave us Trump.

Average Americans like us pay a heavy price for low level crimes.

Politicians commit war crimes and nothing happens.

Rich bankers commit fraud which brings down our entire economy and they pay a fine.

Hopefully, the Trump investigation will expose and change our entire justice system. I hope we will see new major laws passed in the years ahead.

Trump knew how corrupt he was before he ran for president. He did not fear that because he saw how rigged our justice system was. He believed he could do anything and not pay a price. The people who Trump picked to head our government agencies were fearless as they committed crimes. They did it right out in the open. They knew the justice system is rigged in their favor.

So many rich people are committing crimes and it's because they know they can buy their way out of those crimes. You see it all the time.

It is fucking disgusting and I am pissed off.

All this discussion / criticism about billionaires buying our political system, often fails to mention the justice system, as well.

I have an interesting job. I live in Washington state. I am the 2nd person ever in the US to earn a license to provide legal advice to clients in domestic relations (divorce and related) matters as a non-attorney. It's called Limited License Legal Technician. Completely novel.

Licensed by Washington State Supreme Court - very forward-thinking. Has encountered far-reaching resistance from attorneys (surprise!). Idea is to make justice accessible.and affordable for a wider swath, as presently 85% of family law litigants self-represent, since they can't afford an attorney.

We are required to be trained, educated, and experienced, but without the obscene expenses of law school. Hoping the idea will spread to other states.
